The AZD series is one of the most advanced stepper motor drivers. Not only does the excellent current control with full closed loop operation provide performance that often surpasses that of servo motors, but the unique solution with a battery-free absolute encoder and the breadth of the programme are unmatched. 

All types that can operate on low voltage DC fall under the AZD-K, for example, for mobile, battery-powered solutions. For most applications, this is 24VDC, but sometimes 48VDC can also be used for higher performance.

In addition to the multi-axis versions, there are also models available in miniature housings that can be installed in the machine or possibly on the motor.

Furthermore, integration into other environments is virtually unlimited thanks to the various available versions with all conceivable interfaces such as: pulse/direction, Digital I/O, EtherCAT, Profinet, etc., and this in a particularly flexible and simple manner thanks to the freely available MEXE Software.
