Rack and pinion/Screwjacks
Rack and pinion systems consist of a rack (a straight bar with teeth) and a pinion (gear) that rolls over the teeth. When the pinion rotates, the rack moves linearly.
Rack and pinion systems are often used in automation, robotics, CNC machines, and transport solutions.
Screw jacks transform the rotational movement provided by an electric motor into a linear movement: a vertical lifting motion, in pull or push, or horizontal positioning.
They can be used individually or in configurations consisting of multiple screw jacks that are connected to each other via couplings, transmission shafts, and bevel gearboxes. Screw jacks enable the creation of perfectly balanced systems, even with loads that are not evenly distributed across the surface.
