This type is most suitable for high-dynamic point-to-point movements. The presence of iron in the forcer provides a high energy density and simpler heat dissipation.
This type is most suitable for very precise movements and scanning applications. The absence of iron in the forcer avoids cogging effects, and the beam-shaped construction allows for a lighter mounting plate.
