Thumbnail of For indirect drive

At indirect drives the center lines of the driving and driven side are not on the same axis. Every safety couplings for indirect drives have a mounting flange equipped with six metric threads. Toothed belt disks, gears, flanges or other extensions with high concentricity- and planning precision can be attached to the coupling flanges.

  • Adjustable disengagement torque
  • Very low residual moment
  • Backlash-free
  • High repetition accuracy
  • Maintenance-free
  • Automatic re-engagement after 360°
  • Reliable (positive) and fast disengagement
  • Very low mass inertia torque

FHW-A

The lightweight of the safety couplings: FHW-A. They are used where ease plays an important role. Because of the use of aluminium, this clutch has a very low moment of inertia.

  • Entirely of aluminum and stainless steel
  • Resistant coated
  • Low weight
  • Very low mass moment of inertia

FHW-B

The thousands of times used FHW-B comes standard with keyway and sealed deep groove ball bearings (with keyway and groove ball bearing). The hardened functional parts guarantee countless cycles and high reliability.

  • With keyway and deep groove ball bearing
  • Very low residual moment
  • Low mass inertia torque

FHW-D

Radial space-saving and yet it meets all the requirements: FHW-D. By using a needle-camp instead of a deep groove ball bearing cluthch outer Ø is relatively small (with keyway and needle roller bearing).

  • With keyway
  • Small diameter by use of needle roller bearing
  • Adjustable disengagement torque
  • Very low residual moment
  • Low mass inertia torque

FHW-F

The clamping hub FHW-F does not require machining of the shaft for keyways etc. With easy installation and high reliability proven a thousand times (with clamping hub).

  • Easy assembly with clamping hub
  • Very low residual moment
  • Low mass inertia torque
  • All working parts hardened

FHW-H

Coupling with adjustable residual moment (holding brake). This is used if the torque is only reduced and must not completely be interrupted in a case of collision. This often happens with screw driven hoisting applications (adjustable residual moment, brake with radial clampling hub).

  • Adjustable residual moment (Brake)
  • Low mass inertia torque
  • All working parts hardened
