DC Motors with integrated electronics
With these all-in-one or integrated JVL motors, all necessary electronics, such as the driver, controller, encoder and Hall sensor, are located in the housing of the motor itself. This makes installation very simple, leaves you with plenty of space in the installation cabinet and avoids electronic interference and machine downtime. The latter thanks to the reduction in the number of cables and connections.
An additional advantage of these engines is that they are modular. For each engine you can choose between different communication protocols, including EtherCAT, EtherNetIP, Profinet, Modbus, and Sercos. With the all-in-one MAC servo motors, these modules are even plug-ins, meaning you have to keep fewer motors in stock if your customers want to use different protocols.
The advantages of all-in-one motors from JVL:
- Reduced installation costs
- Better protection against electronic interference (due to absence of cable between motor and controller)
- Built-in Hall sensor, encoder and PLC module
- Aluminum housing (optional stainless steel housing for some versions)
- No maintenance required (always brushless and with ball bearings)
- Controlled via MacTalk, making installation, monitoring and diagnostics extremely user-friendly and simple. You can find more information about this here.
In addition to servo motors and servo step motors, Act in Time also offers DC motors with integrated electronics from the DOGA brand for less demanding applications.
