New multi-axis driver with EtherCAT communication

We are proud to introduce the latest addition to Oriental Motor's CVD family: the Multi-Axis Driver. This driver enables up to four stepper motors to be controlled simultaneously via EtherCAT and this within an exceptionally small design.

    This driver enables up to four motors to be controlled simultaneously via EtherCAT. This results in increased flexibility and efficiency within complex automation systems, while ensuring precision and synchronization.

  • Support for 2- and 5-phase stepper motors:
    The CVD Series offers the unique ability to control both 2- and 5-phase stepper motors. This flexibility makes it possible to combine different types of motors and actuators. This applies to the smallest motors with a flange size of 20 mm up to linear actuators or rotary tables with the highest precision and silent operation.

  • Integration of encoder signals and direct control of elektromagnetic brake:
    The Multi-axis CVD driver can read the encoder signals of the 4 motors and is equipped with advanced functions for processing them. In addition, an electromagnetic brake can be directly connected per axis for vertical applications.

    The miniature size of the driver ensures efficient use of space within your installation. This makes the CVD Series ideal for applications where space is a critical factor, such as in medical technology or robotics.

  • Reduced wiring:
