With the new MAC404 and MAC1004 JVL further expands its successful range of integrated servo motors from 50W to 4.5kW.
These two new models combine motor, driver, controller, and encoder in an even more compact housing than before. They deliver maximum performance with minimal cabling effort, ideal for machine building and automation applications.
Integrated for maximum efficiency
Thanks to the all-in-one design, there is no need for separate control cabinets or extra sensor cables to the electrical cabinet. Installation is simple: just connect the power and communication, and the motor is operational. This not only saves space but also reduces commissioning time, maintenance effort, and costs.
The MAC404 provides 400 W continuous power (up to 1.2 kW peak) with a 63 × 63 mm flange, making it ideal for compact applications such as handling or packaging systems.
The MAC1004 takes it a step further with 1000 W continuous power (up to 3 kW peak) and an 80 × 80 mm flange – suitable for heavier processes such as conveyor systems, robotics, and assembly lines.

Enhanced electronics
A major innovation lies in the internal design: the number of internal circuit boards has been reduced from six to two. This not only increases reliability but also lowers production costs, resulting in a more competitive price than before.
Additionally, the new motors are ready for "Safety over EtherNet" and now support Profidrive, making them fully compatible with the latest generation of PLCs and industrial safety networks.
Precise, maintenance-free and robust
The integrated absolute multiturn encoder operates according to the patented “energy harvesting” principle. Here, the energy for position feedback is directly generated from the motor’s movement.
No battery or mechanical transmission is required, making the encoder more robust, reliable, and completely maintenance-free.
Smart communication, easy integration
Both motors support the major industrial Ethernet protocols, including EtherCAT, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and Powerlink.
Thanks to daisy-chain cabling, multiple motors can be easily connected in series without additional network components.
The motors are also fully compatible with all leading PLC programming environments, making integration into existing systems particularly straightforward.
- Built-in Ethernet - the power of JVL connectivity
JVL's proprietary Built-in Ethernet technology allows up to eight different Ethernet protocols to be used via the same hardware.
This means the same motors can be deployed in various environments – from Siemens™ to Rockwell™ or Beckhoff™ – without any hardware changes.
This greatly increases flexibility and reduces inventory and integration costs.
New battery -powered variants coming soon
Starting Q1 2026 JVL™ will further expand the range with new 24V and 48V versions with peak power up to 1.5 kW.
These models follow the same compact design principle for DC-powered applications, often required in mobile devices, and represent an important extension of the existing series, which currently only delivers up to 400 W in such applications.
Compact! Efficient!
With this new generation of servo motors, JVL offers even more options in integrated motion control.
From compact 50W units to powerful 4.5kW models, the complete MAC range stands for space savings, easy installation, and high energy efficiency.
A future-proof solution for those who want maximum performance in a minimal footprint.
These new JVL servo motors are now available at ACT IN TIME.
